IGS is currently seeking applications from English speakers currently residing in Japan for teaching positions with a well-known Japanese company in Totsuka, Kanagawa (near Yokohama). Your application will be part of an introduction service for positions with our client.
Our client provides after-school care and pre-school programs for children aged between three and 12. Their mission is to nurture children in a comfortable English-speaking environment where they listen and speak English in a natural way. They have a mix of both native English speakers and bilingual staff.
The positions are full-time and the contract is for one year.
Requirements:
★ You must be a native-level speaker of English
★ You must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ You must be a team-player, flexible, cheerful and energetic
★ You must enjoy interacting with students of various ages
Our client is looking for teachers who:
★ Preferably have experience working with young learners
★ Have a passion and enthusiasm to teach young children
Working schedule:
- 9 hours per day (including a one hour break) between 9:00 to 20:00
- Two days off per week, determined by the teaching schedule
- Average of 2 hours of overtime a month
- 3 month trial period including 1 month of training
- Assignment to a local-area franchise school may be considered following completion of training
Remuneration/company benefits:
- Salary: up to 250,000 yen per calendar month
- 100,000 yen completion bonus for completing full contract
- Social Insurance (including health insurance and pension) and employment insurance
- Paid holidays after six months
