Description

Destination Asia Japan is expanding, and we are looking for the right people to be part of our growth.
We are looking for a supervisor to manage our busy Reservations department, where they will be responsible for the performance of 8 reservations staff.
Job Description:
Responsible for corresponding with clients, preparing proposals and quotations and coordinating with internal departments and all concerned business partners to ensure that all reservations are made as per the clients’ requirements efficiently and in a timely basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee the Reservation and Quotation team and ensure that all work is carried out efficiently
• Handle clients’ enquiries for Adhoc FIT, GIT, Group concerning reservations and ensure that all enquries are replied within 24 hours
• Prepare proposals, itineraries and quotations or make recommendations for alternative hotels or products for any special deals or unavailability and follow up on confirmation, amendments or cancellation
• Coordinate with all business partners such as hotels, airlines, suppliers to make reservations according to the clients’ requirement
• Coordinate with all concerned internally including branch offices and other DA countries to collect information as required by clients and consolidate into one proposal
• Coordinate and negotiate with hotels or suppliers on any special deals for specific group request
• Check and update for any cancellations or amendments to the bookings and ensure that all bookings are done correctly
• Coordinate with all concerned departments to ensure that all services will run smoothly
• Handle and follow up on pre-payment or deposit for bookings which do not have credit arrangement with the Company and coordinate with Accounting Department for payment from the clients
• Manage, lead, and develop the team of reservation and quotation staff through goal setting, coaching, training and regularly reviewing performance

Other duties as assigned by General Manager


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any fields
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in reservations


Required Skills
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Thailand tourism products
• Ability to work under pressure within tight specific deadline


• Good managerial skill with ability to lead a team
• Service minded
• Strong administration skill with ability to prioritise and follow up work
• Ability to work as a team
• Attention to detail
• Good negotiation skill
