Job Description
Position Title : Communication Manager, Compressor Technique
Reports to : General Manager, Compressor Technique Business Area


I. Broad Function
Your mission is to position the Atlas Copco brand and products as First in Mind—First in Choice™ amongst its target audiences. Specifically, you will be required to:
Decide, together with the company Management, the Communication goals and strategies
Develop plans and implement according to a yearly communication budget.
Manage all tasks related to brand positioning, internal and external communications.
Raise product awareness amongst target groups, and help increase sales in line with Marketing objectives.
Safeguard and communicate the brand values internally in the company.
Safeguard the visual brand identity.
Support the Management and safeguard the communications competence within the local business.

II. Principal Responsibilities
Brand identity and Development
- Establish a strong Atlas Copco Brand Identity according to company guidelines.
- Assist the marketing team in positioning the brand, specifically to safeguard that the brand is communicated consistently and continually.
- Ensure that all communications and sales promotion materials are produced to a high quality and in line with the brand identity guidelines.
Advise on the design and look of products, technical literature, and packaging.
Internal communications
- Advise on and coordinate major internal communications issues.
- Act as editor of employee newsletter.
- Contribute to the news and communications of the divisions.
External communications
- Develop promotional campaigns in conjunction with Marketing on target segments, and safeguard the implementation and follow up.
- Be responsible for communications activities surrounding product launches, including events, literature, press releases, internet, customer magazines, and exhibitions.
- Develop contacts with the press to increase coverage of Compressor Technique and its products.
- Coordinate content of Compressor Technique website, and ensure that relevant news is published with Key customers.
- Initiate and coordinate photography of products, applications, people and events.
- Represent as spokesperson for Compressor Technique Business Area.
Web & Social Media Responsible
- Administrate, editing and coordinating the local web site to promote the web traffic.
- Being an expert in Search engine optimization you will explore new opportunities continuously.
- Develop our web presence proactively further.

III. Qualification Requirements
Educational Requirements
- University 4 years degree, preferably marketing or communications related. MBA degree desired
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience from communications and marketing preferably in similar industries
- Experience in Social Media
Knowledge
- Business level English both written and spoken
- Japanese language full written and spoken
- Good understanding of media and communications technologies
- Knowledge both of print production and of modern electronic media
- Good presentation skills in writing
- Solid understanding of Lotus Notes and MS office and being a professional in PowerPoint
