■Position Description
Automotive specialist sought to work in the Aichi office of an international marketing company. This is an in-house, full-time contract position (immediate start desirable). Responsibilities include helping to create automotive-related materials and conducting product-training events. The successful candidate will work in a Japanese office environment as part of an international team. The salary offered for this position will be from 316,000to 350,000 yen/month (dependant on skills and qualifications).

■Primary Duties
-Proofread, edit and create internal and external materials for a major Japanese auto manufacturer.
-Check documents translated by other staff for correct terminology, nuance, accuracy, grammar and consistency with internal style guides.
　　
- Translate materials with the appropriate format, tone, style and content as requested by the client.
Plan and develop product-training materials catered towards sales and marketing teams around the world, localizing content to suit the needs of audiences in a variety of regions.
-Perform presentations and respond to questions from participants at product training events including test drives.

■Required Skills
-Extensive knowledge of modern automotive technology and recent market dynamics
-Native-level English language ability
-Excellent knowledge of English writing conventions (grammar, punctuation, etc.)
-Business-level Japanese language ability (reading and listening equivalent to JLPT level 2 or above).
-Excellent public speaking ability
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
-Willingness to travel within Japan and overseas


■Desirable SkillsExperience as a vehicle sales associate or sales manager

-Sales training experience　
-Experience creating product training materials
-Professional writing experience (please include any published examples of your work)
-Experience working in a Japanese office environment
-Interested in cars and familiar with modern automotive technology
-Valid Japanese driver’s license
