Job Description

Department : Oil Free Air Division
Section : Sales
Position Title : Sales engineer
Report to : Area sales manager

Ⅰ. Broad Function
Your mission is to expand Atlas Copco presence in the designated sales territory through selling solutions in order to maximize our customer’s productivity. Specifically, you will be required to :
● Sell products manufactured by Oil Free Air Division (i.e. Air compressor, Gas compressor,
Dryer etc.)
● Achieve the sales target Order Received and Order Invoice
● Expand business opportunities
● Increase market share in the designated area
● Increase Customer Satisfaction
● Develop internal and external communication and team work

Ⅱ. Principal Responsibilities
● Business development
- Make strategic sales action plan and execution
- Develop the territory with new customers and new applications with Oil Free Air products
- Execute Segmentation, application and mapping
- Develop sales volume in collaboration with dealers
- Take care and increase Key Account customer
- Control the cost while maximizing the Orders Receive
● Visit Customer
- Make an appointment both existing and new customer to increase business opportunities
    - Plan organized customer visit and keep customer visit information into the system.
- Accelerate sales promotion at the customer by means of solution presentation, training and demonstration in order to find customer’s needs
- Manage whole process from getting inquiry to Purchase Order
● Market analysis
- Seek potential customers based on the analysis of market research, segmentation and competitor activity


● Customer Satisfaction
- Drive customer satisfaction in collaboration with Compressor Technique Service
- Quick response and proactive approach to the customer
● Timely reporting
- Update Weekly sales forecast when appropriate to lead to Purchase Order
- Summarize and send monthly report in a timely manner
- Provide timely report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities,
and potential for new products and service
● Develop Internal communication and Team work
- Coordinates sales effort with Application/Marketing, sales management, Compressor
Technique Service, Kawasaki Compressor Logistics Center and Finance.
- Have job related training and take proactive action when Atlas Copco participates the
exhibition

Ⅲ. Qualification Requirements
● Educational Requirements
- Graduate in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
● Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years sales experience in the industry, manufacturing and service sector
● Knowledge and skill Requirements
- PC skills Excel, Word Power Point
- Mechanical and Electrical engineering knowledge
- Industrial segmentation and application knowledge
- English listening, speaking, reading and writing in business situation
● Personality Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good teamwork spirit, self motivated and energetic
- Eager to learn and adapt
- Result oriented
- Customer oriented
- Meet stiff targets, deadlines and work under pressure
