Immediate ALT in Midori, Gunma (expired)

We are currently looking for quality candidates who can start from April to be an assistant to the English teachers in Midori, Gunma public schools. Holding a BA/BS degree and having some Japanese ability is needed, as well as being a native speaker with a working visa or the potential to be sponsored. The successful applicant should live in or be willing to commute to the area.

The basic conditions are:

-1 JHS and 1 Kindergarten
-8:20AM to 4:20PM
-From April 2014 to the end of March 2015
-Maximum of under 6 hours working time (7 periods of 50 minutes; a maximum of 6 classes per day with the average being perhaps 3-5)
-Daily Salary : Will depend on the school; between 11,000-12,000 yen per day
-The schedule has not been released, but the past year this position had 200 days over this time frame and should be similar. Within the schedule is a healthy break in summer and in winter and a scattering of national holidays. Monthly pay will reflect the actual work done (Number of days worked X daily rate).
-If needing housing assistance, we can arrange a private apartment.

All new ALTs must obtain initial orientation and go through a basic medical check up, or provide a clean bill of health from a recent doctor visit.
