Description

Experienced Native English Teachers needed for part-time evening work at juku in Kyoto Shijo/Karasuma area.

We are currently looking for teachers available for part-time work Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.

Although we are a juku, we are not a regular juku, with our class sizes being a maximum of 3 students and native English classes being taught to compliment those taught in Japanese. We offer a supportive team environment and want to find teachers who take pride in their teaching and who will contribute to the success of our students.

Please note that this is not an eikaiwa and we are looking for professional, experienced teachers who are comfortable teaching more than just conversation classes. Our goal is to help our students pass high-level university entrance exams and provide them with a solid understanding of English to help them in their future studies.

Teachers must be:
-Native English Speakers (brought up speaking English as a first language in an English speaking environment)
-Well-organised, polite and professional in appearance and demeanor
-Experienced ESL/EFL teachers (2 years +)
-Experienced at teaching in Japan (2 years +)
-Able to teach writing, grammar and listening skills to junior and senior high school students.

ESL/EFL qualifications are preferred and a valid work visa is essential.
