Immediate ALT in Kamisu, Ibaraki（期限切れ）

We are currently looking for quality candidates who can start immediately, or at latest from the beginning of May, to be an assistant to the English teachers in Kamisu, Ibaraki public schools. Holding a BA/BS degree and having some Japanese ability is preferable but not required, as long as the applicant is a native English speaker with a working visa or the potential to be sponsored, has some experience, and is great with kids aged 6 through 15. The successful applicant should live in or be willing to commute to the area.

The Kamisu positions require work in 2-3 schools, with multiple school positions including a combination of junior high and elementary schools to be visited.

The position lasts through March of 2015, working all school scheduled days.

Salary is based on a daily rate. The full yearly salary based on a specific number of days in the schedule is provided individually, and may vary slightly if there are a few days differing in individual school schedules.

Assistance to find housing is available. Half of the positions would require driving and assistance to arrange a rental car is also available.

All new ALTs must obtain initial orientation and go through a basic medical check up, or provide a clean bill of health from a recent doctor visit.

With the position, the Heart Corporation offers our teachers permission to find additional work within the specifications of their visa. There is also the potential for additional work through the company on free days as a substitute.
