Nichii Gakkan Corp is looking for professional and enthusiastic English Instructors for our recently established and rapidly expanding Coco Juku English schools.

Position: English Instructor
One year contract

Prospective candidates:

- Have an interest in Japanese culture and working with Japanese people
- Have excellent communication skills and are eager to learn new things
- Are patient, friendly and flexible
- Are careful and thoughtful
- Are team players and proactively support others
- Are active and enthusiastic
- Are experienced in teaching English

Requirements:

- Native level English
- Already living in Japan with current work visa/work permission
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an English speaking country
- Be able to work for a minimum of one year
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA experience (at least 120 hours) or equivalent certificate is favorable
- Teaching experience and/or instructor training experience is favorable

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Teach students following the company curriculum and teaching methodology effectively, offering attractive lessons for students
- Evaluate students properly
- Complete and update daily teaching records
- Counsel students about contract renewals and future courses
- Attend the required meetings, seminars and other activities
- Be loyal and cooperative to the employer

Salary: Oita Full-time native English teachers: JPY 250,000/month
