Description

ALTIA CENTRAL is beginning to accept applications to join our team from April 2013 in a wide variety of locations in and around Aichi prefecture. We are looking for positive and friendly people to fill these full-time public school ALT positions for 2013~14 school year and plan to conduct interviews on an ongoing basis at our head office in Nagoya throughout January and February.

Our company, ALTIA CENTRAL, enjoys an excellent reputation and is a highly respected company both with Boards of Education and amongst the English teaching community in Japan. We operate mostly in the Chubu area, especially Aichi, Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures, and areas further west such as Shiga, Osaka, Okayama, and Hiroshima as well, with a wide variety of positions from April all around Aichi prefecture in places such as Toyota, Obu, Kariya, Anjo, Nishio, Seto, Komaki, Konan, Nagoya and others.

We offer a stable, reliable and extremely professional support system and our ALTs enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including generous, fully-paid vacation periods. We also provide excellent teacher training, an amazing array of educational resources and other benefits. Please visit our recruiting website at http://recruiting.altmoot.com/ for further details about our organization.

ALTs work in public schools assisting the Japanese teachers, and helping to provide a positive and energetic experience through English for the students. It’s a great chance to learn and use the Japanese language on a daily basis, to experience and appreciate cultural differences, and most importantly to be positively involved with the development of young children. If you have the desire to accept this type of responsibility, please contact ALTIA CENTRAL.

Successful applicants should be available for Orientation/Training for 4 full days in late March near our head office in Nagoya city and be ready to start school from April 1st. They must be flexible, enjoy working with young children, and be motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their students. A strong desire to live and work in Japan, good Japanese language skills, and teaching experience with young learners is also highly recommended. A minimum BA/BS degree is required, and a degree in a relevant field such as Japanese, Japanese History, East Asian Studies, Linguistics and the like are particularly useful though not absolutely necessary.

*Please understand that only applicants considered for interview will be contacted and that we do not have any positions in or near the greater Tokyo area.
