Our company, ALTIA CENTRAL, enjoys an excellent reputation and is a highly respected company both with Boards of Education and amongst the English teaching community in Japan. We operate mostly in the Chubu area, especially Aichi, Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures, and areas further west such as Shiga, Osaka, Okayama, and Hiroshima as well, with a wide variety of positions from April all around Aichi prefecture in places such as Toyota, Obu, Kariya, Anjo, Nishio, Seto, Komaki, Konan, Nagoya and others.

We offer a stable, reliable and extremely professional support system and our ALTs enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including generous, fully-paid vacation periods. We also provide excellent teacher training, an amazing array of educational resources and other benefits. Please visit our recruiting website at http://recruiting.altmoot.com/ for further details about our organization.

ALTs work in public schools assisting the Japanese teachers, and helping to provide a positive and energetic experience through English for the students. It’s a great chance to learn and use the Japanese language on a daily basis, to experience and appreciate cultural differences, and most importantly to be positively involved with the development of young children. If you have the desire to accept this type of responsibility, please contact ALTIA CENTRAL.

Successful applicants should be available for Orientation/Training for 4 full days in late March near our head office in Nagoya city and be ready to start school from April 1st. They must be flexible, enjoy working with young children, and be motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their students. A strong desire to live and work in Japan, good Japanese language skills, and teaching experience with young learners is also highly recommended. A minimum BA/BS degree is required, and a degree in a relevant field such as Japanese, Japanese History, East Asian Studies, Linguistics and the like are particularly useful though not absolutely necessary.

*Please understand that only applicants considered for interview will be contacted and that we do not have any positions in or near the greater Tokyo area.

Altia Central (株式会社 アルティアセントラル)

About:
ALTIA CENTRAL, in it's current form, started over 10 years ago providing educational ALT services to the public school system in Japan.

ALTIA CENTRAL’s slogan is a simple one - “Today's Impression - Tomorrow's Dream”. This has been translated from the Japanese phrase "Kandou-no-hajimari", a phrase, which seeks to create a feeling that, through a positive impression of English today, people can achieve, through English, their dreams of tomorrow.

But ALTIA CENTRAL is not in business just to teach English. We are involved with the development of children at all levels. This is a responsibility we do not take lightly. Our aim is to provide the highest quality ALTs, ALT support services, working conditions and support network, as this in turn provides the best positive experience for the students, the customers and even the ALTs!

By dealing with customers, students and employees honestly and showing respect and trust, we will positively effect the development of the students and meet or exceed out quality and growth goals.

Today we have roughly 250 ALTs teaching successfully in 10 prefectures and taking part in the development of thousands of children everyday.
