Kansai International Academy is currently seeking experienced teachers for our Himeji campus for our next school year.
The opening position is for our Early Learning Center (ELC) with children aged 1-3 years old. It involves teaching and caring for a class of up to eighteen students with support from one or two experienced Japanese classroom teaching partners.
Duties include:
Full time teaching and childcare
Toilet training (including changing diapers)
Lunch time supervision
Assessment of student progress
Continuation of curriculum revision and development
Requirements:
Experience in caring for young children in Japan
English teaching experience in Japan strongly preferred
Tertiary degree in early childhood education strongly preferred
Ability to apply curriculum principles in practice and to plan effective lessons
Holds a valid working visa
Conditions:
Full-time duties Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm (includes 60 minutes non-contact time)
Transportation cost covered up to ¥25,000 per month
Vacations are comprised of 32 school holidays, 5 personal and sick days, and all national holidays
