Part-time English Instructor for Buddhist women’s college
We are currently looking for a female English Instructor, age 30 or over, to join the English Department at the junior college for Buddhist women in Tokyo. The position is suitable for applicants from all religious denominations with excellent knowledge of English and basic understanding of Buddhism.
Requirements: University degree; TESOL (or equivalent) qualifications; Japanese working visa, proven work experience. Knowledge of Japanese language is not required.
Conditions: The contract is between April 2nd and July 25th – first semester and September 4th and December 19th 2012 – second semester, but might be renewed. The classes are scheduled for Tuesdays from 10:30 till 12:40 and Wednesdays from 8:30 till 10:40; 4 teaching hours per week paid 4.500 yen/hour and you will have 3 office hours per week paid 2.000 yen/hour.
