Native English speaker with advanced writing and editing skills. Fluent in reading and speaking Japanese. Should have a serious disposition and be able to take responsibility for entire projects without supervision. Good people skills and high level of personal integrity are also important.

The employee will co-ordinate with clients in both the English and Japanese languages to negotiate schedules and other client requirements. He or she will also co-ordinate with external freelance translators, passing along any specific client requirements and will work with the translators to ensure that client schedules are met and instructions are followed. Finally, the employee will be responsible for checking and, where necessary, editing the completed texts to ensure that the final product meets appropriate standards of quality.
