-Assist in the planning and development of instructional materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, and other print and electronic ancillary materials programs.
-Develop and edit manuscript for content, accuracy, reading level, grammar, style, and length.
-Identify problem areas in content and recommend solutions.
-Assist in the development of project schedules, and maintain and meet all intermediate and final schedules; inform project editor or editorial manager if circumstances prevent meeting deadlines.
-Work closely with marketing, production, design, and manufacturing to ensure that market requirements, project schedules, and goals are met.
-Must be detail oriented and able to edit a variety of materials in a timely manner.
-Communicate with fellow team members about project progress, and develop solutions to address issues.
Work as a team player to meet all intermediate and final schedules.
<Required>
-Bachelor's degree.
-Classroom teaching experience in Japan.
-A minimum of three years of editorial experience.
-Ability to demonstrate outstanding communication skills which include a thorough command of the English language, spelling, writing and grammar.
-Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and help manage multiple projects.
-Organizational and time management proficiencies are also a must.
-Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
