Full Time Assistant Language Teacher -　late March start（期限切れ）

Dongel Educational Services a private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), is seeking applications from native English speakers for ALT positions in Ibaraki, Chiba, Saitama and Kanagawa Prefectures. These positions start from late-March 2012.

Assistant Language Teachers(ALTs) are invited to Japan to assist in English language teaching as well as promote internationalization within schools and communities. These roles can be further broken down as shown below:

*Build friendly relationships with the Japanese people.

*Breakdown internationalization stereotypes.

*Motivate students to practice English skills.

*Provide chances for students to hear natural English.

*Introduce their home countries and other countries.

*Promote awareness of global issues.


ALTs can easily use their talents and interests to help fulfill these roles and feel good about their purpose in Japan


Requirements

★ Must be a native-level speaker of English
★ Must have a university degree
★ Must have at least 12 years of formal education in the medium of English
★ Must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ Must have a valid Japanese work visa

Training:

Dongel has a comprehensive initial and ongoing training programme to support and develop all ALTs.

Working hours:

Assignments can be scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday through Friday.

Remuneration:

Salary ranges between 200,000 and 230,000 Japanese Yen per calendar month for a full-time position.
