Interac, Japan's largest private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), is seeking applications from native English speakers for ALT positions in Chiba Prefecture. These positions start from late-March 2012.

ALTs are more than language teachers. They are the face of the global community and help and support young Japanese learners to broaden their horizons and develop international understanding.
★ Must be a native-level speaker of English
★ Must have a university degree
★ Must have at least 12 years of formal education in the medium of English
★ Must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ Must have a valid Japanese work visa
Interac has a comprehensive initial and ongoing training programme to support and develop all ALTs.
Assignments can be scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday through Friday.
Salary ranges between 230,000 and 255,000 Japanese Yen per calendar month for a full-time position. Full-time ALTs receive a generous holiday entitlement in line with school vacations throughout the year.
