This post is for a full time Early Childhood Education Specialist.

The ECE specialist role helps in the support and professional development of the team regarding early childhood education best practices. Interested parties should have a strong understanding of classroom management, developmentally appropriate practices, and curriculum creation. Experience in a Reggio Emilia setting is preferred but not mandatory. Teachers who have interest or experience student-led and project-based methodology are highly preferred. Educators with experience in the arts (performative or medium based) are also preferred.

The role will also include time in which the staff member will join classes, assist in subbing when needed, and helping with afternoon preparations and programs.

Conditions for Position:
-Weekly Schedule: 5 Days a Week (T-S or M-F)
-Daily Schedule: 9-6 (1 Hour Break)
-Contract Length: 1 Year (with completion of Probationary Period)

ECE Specialist Qualifications:
-Must be a native English speaker (spoken and written)
-Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education or Bachelors Degree and ECE Certification
-2+ years teaching experience in native-language setting
-All teachers must complete a two month paid training period upon initial hiring
-Must be comfortable using an Apple computer

Starting Salary Increased Based On:
-Government (Japan or Home Country) Teaching License/Accreditation
-Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education or Bachelors Degree and ECE Certification
-Experience Teaching in Accredited Schools.
-Team Management Experience.
-Phonics and Literacy Teaching Experience in Accredited Programs
