Position Overview
GnoKids is a children’s English school with six locations and growing in Tokyo! We are seeking outgoing, enthusiastic teachers who love spending time with kids and having fun. Our mission is to be the best kids English school in Japan and also to provide the best working environment for all employees. Also, in addition to teaching, teachers can contribute their specialized skills in areas such as curriculum development, event planning, management, human resources, video and audio production/graphic design, marketing, book and textbook writing and more! We hope that teachers can gain a lot of relevant teaching experience but also expand their horizons and learn new skills while working at GnoKids! The staff are an international group who are professional, friendly and fun to work with. We believe that in order for our students to enjoy our lessons, it is important for us to enjoy working together.

Our School
At GnoKids, we do team-teaching. Each class will have two teachers who are equally responsible for the success of the lesson. Having two teachers creates a fun atmosphere for the teachers as well as the students, and it provides the students with ample amounts of natural English exposure.

We use Project-Based Learning to teach a goal-oriented curriculum to our students. Our classes are very hands-on and we strongly believe in ‘learning through doing’. We have small class sizes (1:5 teacher to student ratio) to maximize the interaction students can have with the teachers.
