ZONO International School is a Preschool/Kindergarten in Yamashina, Kyoto.
We are looking for candidates who are able to start as soon as possible.

ZONO International School provides a comprehensive, active learning environment that challenges students and supports all areas of development. Our students range from ages one to six. We believe in nurturing English literacy and fluency through various subjects such as English, math, science, and social studies. We want a bright, energetic, and hardworking teacher who has a passion for teaching children.

Requirements:
Native English Level
Bachelor’s Degree (equiv. or higher)
Minimum one-year commitment
Must reside in Kyoto or surrounding areas

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-Planning fun and exciting English, social studies, and science lesson plans that are appropriate for the age and English level of the students
-Participate in planning and execution of seasonal events and activities
-Assessing the development of students over the course of the school year
- All teachers are required to bring a personal laptop to work
-Understanding of the Japanese working culture and environment
-Adhere to the company rules

Preferred:
Experience working with young children at an international kindergarten in Japan
TEFL/TESOL certification and experience
Enjoy music, dance, art, writing, theater etc.
Creative, motivated, open minded and energetic
Able to manage a whole class on their own (classroom management skills a must)
