AIC Kids teacher for NEW Yokohama branch (expired)

The programme:

At AIC Kids we teach English to children in an all-English setting. This immersion helps set us apart from other English conversation classes. Our students take the Eiken test in order to mark their progress, so our curriculum is partially geared toward helping them achieve their desired level, but it is by no means the be-all-end-all of our classes!

The details:

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated teacher for our new classroom in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. This is a somewhat unique opportunity in that you will be directly employed by AIC Oshu's head office, i.e. the Yokohama branch will operate as a satellite school rather than a franchise.

Working hours : Wed - Fri, 2:30pm to 8:30pm; Sat/Sun, 10:00am to 8:00pm

Working days: Wednesday to Sunday

Contract start: Early December, 2019

Contract term: December 2019 to end of February 2021 (renewable yearly)

Age of AIC Kids students: 3 to 12 years old, separated according to level and age

AIC Kids Class size: maximum of 6 - 8 kids (depending on class type)

Salary: 280,000yen per month

Transportation costs covered up to 30,000yen

Pay cycle: 11th of previous month to 10th of current month, paid on 25th
(i.e. November 11th to December 10th will be paid on December 25th)

Insurance : Social insurance ('shakai hoken') covers Health, Pension and Employment insurances

Training will take place at our main school in Hiroshima. All transportation and accommodation costs for training will be covered by the company.
