Full Time English Instructor (Mie)- Hiring for April/May（期限切れ）

Links Eikaiwa is currently accepting applications for a position at our school in Mie.

We are a small personable company and we need an instructor for our school in Kuwana which is also convenient for teachers from Nagoya, Aichi. We are looking for someone who is both versatile and professional. Someone who enjoys people, seeing students improve, and wishes to continually improve themselves. We teach a large range of people from children, to adults to business students. A typical day at Links could include teaching retirees early afternoon, young children in the afternoon, and some adults or a business student in the evening. The management are teachers themselves and are always available to guide and help teachers improve and enjoy their own teaching.

Classes are from Tuesday to Saturday, transportation is paid in full and the position includes training in our methods and over 5 weeks of set holidays however there are no extra public holidays outside of these times. Office hours in Kuwana are from 12 to 9 with an hour break. All lessons have 10 minute intervals between them and ample preparation time is usually available. Salary and benefits are negotiable and subject to experience and ability.


Requirements
At least two years teaching experience or a tertiary level teaching qualification.
A well rounded understanding of Eikaiwa conversation teaching and the needs of different levels of students.
Normal professional etiquette, reliability and ability to get on with and enjoy work within a business framework.
The ability to make lesson plans from English source material and to be able to adapt these lessons to students of varying abilities and needs.
A willingness to learn themselves and enjoy seeing others improve.

Preferred
Children's teaching experience is preferred but if a candidate has sound technique this can be learned.

Recruitment is ongoing with a view to hiring in April or the start of May but we may fill the position early if a sound candidate is found. A Skype or face to face interview will be conducted with screened candidates who should be ready to teach a demonstration eikaiwa lesson to a Japanese staff member.
