Description

Seikyo Campus is currently accepting applications for an English Teaching Position starting in June 2019.

We are looking for a passionate, proactive, conscientious English teacher, who can handle a high degree of responsibility. This requires the teacher to be independent and manage classes effectively.

The content of the work consists of:
‣Teaching after-school classes for elementary school students (ages 6-7)
‣Memorising songs and adapting your teaching style (to the GrapeSEED).
‣Discussing the content and context of lessons before and after class.
‣Participating in Japanese and English staff meetings.
‣Assessing the students and developing their English skills effectively.
‣Communicating with parents after the class.
‣Cleaning the teaching rooms.

Work Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
15:30-16:10: Preparing & meetings
16:20-17:30: Teaching

Wage: 3,000 yen per hour teaching. 1,000 yen per hour for preparation & meetings.
Train fees will be paid separately.

You will need to submit a resume & references.
If your application is selected, there will be an interview and you will be asked to demonstrate your style of teaching.

Candidates will be informed by phone if they have the position or not.

We provide our own curriculum and training system. This has to be followed. Although we are open to new ideas and new activities etc., you must not deviate from our curriculum without discussing it first.

The content of the assistant work consists of:
‣Supporting the teacher of after-school classes for elementary school students (ages 6-7)
‣Discussing the content and context of lessons before and after class.
‣Participating in Japanese and English staff meetings.
‣Assessing the students and developing their English skills effectively.
‣Communicating with parents after the class.
‣Cleaning the teaching rooms.

Work Hours:
