Description

Looking to gain some real classroom experience with a lighter schedule that you can balance with other commitments? Borderlink is now offering daily positions throughout Tokyo, Saitama and Kanagawa starting from April 2019!

These Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) daily positions see you working at public elementary and/or junior high school levels, and are perfect for those seeking to supplement other work or expand their range of teaching skills. Those holding visas allowing work for 28 hours or less (including students) are also welcome to apply as we have positions with flexible hours.

Working a daily position gives you more time to manage other responsibilities, and is advantageous if you already have an evening or another part-time job. The wage is on a daily basis, meaning a full day's work is paid (at the end of every month) regardless of the number of classes taught in the day.

Furthermore, Borderlink will be able to provide you with a yearly calendar to help manage your schedule and plan your week accordingly, a benefit unique to us. It is possible for us to act as the sponsor for your visa if the situational requirements are met. We offer a variety of daily positions across eastern and west Tokyo (including the 23 wards and surrounding cities) as well as central Saitama and central Kanagawa.)

--About ALT Work--

As an ALT, you would be responsible for co-teaching with Japanese teachers, making activities and materials to facilitate English language instruction. You will also make the language "real" by interacting with students throughout the day to help them actively apply what they learn in class. The ideal candidate is flexible with their teaching style and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of the students.

--About Borderlink--

Borderlink is well-known and respected among schools and boards of education. We provide initial training and after-placement support unparalleled among ALT companies, including relocation assistance and visa sponsorship where applicable. Recently we've been expanding, and are looking to create a strong roster of ALTs across the Kansai area. We're ready to believe in your possibility, and help you realize your potential as a teacher. Many in our management team began as ALTs or teachers themselves, and over the years accumulated the knowledge and skills to pass on to others. At Borderlink, there's always room for growth, both as individuals and as a team.

--Are You Ready? Apply Now!--

If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, we're waiting to hear from you and are accepting applications today! We conduct Skype interviews regularly throughout the week, and welcome applicants from all over Japan. Please note that these positions go fast, so please apply soon and let us know the city/cities you're interested in working in! Thank you for reading!

*Please note that as we receive a high number of applicants, only those who pass the initial screening will be contacted for an interview.
