The ‘Children's English Instructor’ position at Nagara Kindergarten is a full-time Monday to Friday teaching role starting in April 2019. This position requires a highly-skilled and autonomous children's teacher.
The position will involve teaching English to infant and kindergarten children in the mornings, and to elementary school children in the later afternoons, to evening. In addition, the position requires helping out with the outdoor forest kindergarten program. This involves spending time outside doing active, nature-based activities with the children.
The perfect candidate would be able to converse in basic Japanese, and perform well within a Japanese educational environment, as it is necessary to liaise and work alongside Japanese educators. Successful candidates will be contacted by e-mail for a telephone interview, and then a panel interview at the school.
