Kindergarten Teacher (expired)

Kure Chuo Yochien founded in 1948 offers child care, preschool & Kindergarten for children ages 16 weeks and up. We have a structured,　curriculum-based program that includes English (phonics). We are looking for motivated, fun-loving, nurturing full time or part time Assistant Teachers. We are seeking two innovative teachers who will be responsible for planning and implementing the daily program for children within an assigned age group.
Qualified candidates must be residing in Japan by March of 2019 with an appropriate visa. Pay & Benefits discussed at interview. Training provided.

Two openings: One full time and one part time, or two full time teachers

1. Full time (monthly rate)
- Basic pay: 162,000 ~ 203,000 yen
- Additional pay: 60,000 ~ 80,000 yen
- Benefits: Housing allowance, transportation allowance, insurance provided for dependent family members
- Insurance: Health insurance, employment insurance
- Retirement: Retirement benefit will become available when an employee's intention to continue for a long term has been determined.
- Bonus: Beginning from second year, 2.1x monthly rate per year
Salary will be determined by education, experience, and other similar factors.

2. Part time
- No degree/some college: 950 yen/hour
- Associate degree: 1000 yen/hour
- Bachelor's degree: 1300 yen/hour
(TESL/TESOL : 3000/monthly added to total pay)
Degrees beyond the baccalaureate are subject to higher rates of pay. Extensive formal child care experience in your country, may also be considered as a factor in determining starting wages in lieu of an earned degree. Increases to an employee’s wage occur at the end of each evaluation period and are based on performance.

Eligibility requirements:
- English ability: Native level(subject to pronunciation assessment)
- Japanese ability: Beginner level(basic greetings) Speaking ability is not required.
- Applicants must be residing in Japan by March of 2019.
- Applicants intending to work for at least three years and strongly preferred.
