Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB: http://www.nucba.ac.jp/), an AACSB International and AMBA accredited academic institution in Japan, seeks to immediately fill two learning advisor positions in its self-access center (SAC) in association with the Department of English in the Faculty of International Studies. This is a one year full-time position starting April 1st 2019 and renewable annually. Salary and other benefits will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Specific Duties:
Help students set individual language learning goals
Advise and counsel students on their language learning goals
Orient and train students on the purpose and function of the self-access
center
Orient and train students on the technical, strategic and pedagogical aspects of
its online self-access program
Manage an online self-access program for 1st year English majors in the Faculty
of International Studies
Help manage and provide student access to self-access materials
Liaise with the SAC Committee Head and Dean of the Faculty of International
Studies on SAC-related issues
