Description

Patro Information is seeking a native English-speaking proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate has an educational or work experience background in Chemistry, in particular in Biochemistry, and a good ability with both spoken and written Japanese.

Responsibilities:
-Proofread and edit documents prepared by Japanese colleagues
-Translate legal documents, such as notifications from the Japan Patent Office
-Proofread and edit communications and internal documents as needed
-Provide office support and related activities

Required Skills:
-Must be a native English speaker
-Must have a good command of both spoken and written Japanese
-Must have an educational or work experience background in Chemistry or a related field
-Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
-Must be familiar with Japanese versions of Microsoft software (Office, Windows, etc.)
-Must be detail-oriented, organized, and thorough
