UP Inc. is a well-established educational brand in the Nishinomiya area.
We are looking for full-time native English instructors for our cram school branch. Our ideal candidate would also be able to work at our P.E. branch.
STARTING DATE
- As soon as possible
LOCATION
- Various locations in Nishinomiya, Kobe, Takarazuka, Sanda, and Osaka.
SALARY
- 280,000 yen monthly, initial 2-month training period will be hourly close to the stated salary
- Transportation reimbursed
CONTRACT
- 1-year contract with renewal and salary increase opportunities based on performance
WORK SCHEDULE
- 5 days a week between Monday and Sunday
- 7 hours a day between 8:30-22:00
- 35 hours a week (includes a 60 minute break each day)
YEARLY SCHEDULE & HOLIDAYS
- 110 scheduled days off
- 10 paid vacation days after 6 months (with over 80% attendance)
- Must work most national holidays
- Time off during Golden Week, Summer and New Year’s
- Should be flexible, especially during Japanese school vacation periods
- Yearly company trips

DUTIES
- Teach English to up to 30 students at a time
- Help to plan and develop English teaching materials
- Continuously improve the current curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and carry out seasonal events (Summer/Halloween/Christmas/etc.)
- Conduct English language training for Japanese staff
REQUIREMENTS
- Native or near-native English speaker
- Residing in the general area
- Valid working visa
PREFERRED
- Experience teaching students 6 months to 15 years old
- Coaching/Kindergarten experience (P.E. branch)
- Special skills that you can contribute to improve our curriculum
