Native English Teaching Staff - ECC Okayama (expired)

ECC Foreign Language Institute seeks a professional, energetic and committed Native English speaker for our busy and friendly school in central Okayama. Utilising a variety of ECC produced materials, classes involve both children and adults of various levels. The position also involves complete training at one of our regional head offices from mid-May in Tokyo, Nagoya or Osaka (accommodation can be arranged for those living outside those regions).

Applications will be accepted only from those currently residing in Japan, and further preference will be given to applicants residing in the Okayama area specifically. However, applications from those residing elsewhere in Japan are welcome, provided applicants are able to relocate to Okayama. Okayama is a major city situated between Osaka and Hiroshima and is about 45 minutes west of Osaka by shinkansen.

Interested individuals should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, be native speakers of English and possess a valid working visa. Please ensure that all of these criteria are met before applying.

This position may appeal to those looking to develop their teaching skills while playing a central role in school leadership. Once working within ECC, transfers to other districts or schools are also possible after your first year.
