Part-time ALT - Adachi Ward, Tokyo (May 2018) (expired)

Looking to boost your income or get some experience in a public school while working or studying in the evenings or on weekends?

Joytalk is now accepting applications for native English speaking ALTs for Japanese public Junior High schools in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, starting from May 2018 and lasting until October 2018, with training towards the end of April.

Applicants should be native speakers of English, have a university degree and be willing to commit to at least a six month contract, enjoy working with children and be a team player.

Applicants would also be highly regarded if they hold education qualifications, conversational Japanese language skills and / or have previous ALT experience or teaching experience in their home country.

Joytalk has been recruiting foreign staff for more than 35 years. We pride ourselves on providing quality and personal assistance to our foreign language staff and provide 24 hour support or assistance where needed.

The positions are up to four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The salary will be a rate of 9000 yen per day, with up to 300 yen per day for paid transportation.
