Part-time English Teacher -April 2018（期限切れ）

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2018.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from April 2018 to March 2019.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

Dispatch Kindergarten Class (M/TU)
Times: Mondays & Tuesdays 10:00-11:50
Contract length: 1 or 2 days a week, total 35 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥10,000/day plus transportation
Location: Nishinomiya, Kobe
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Three 30-minute lessons a day.


Dispatch Kindergarten Class (TU)
Times: Tuesdays 10:00-11:45
Contract length: 32 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥8,000/day plus transportation
Location: Higashiyodogawa, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Three 35-minute lessons a day.


Weekday Kinder (W)
Times: Wednesdays 15:00-17:40
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.


Dispatch Kindergarten Class (F)
Times: Fridays 10:00-15:05
Contract length: 23 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥13,500/day
Location: Neyagawa, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Five 30-minute lessons a day.


Dispatch Kindergarten Class (F)
Times: Fridays 10:10-12:00
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥7,000/day
Location: Takatsuki, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Three 30-minute lessons a day.


International Kids Program: Kinder (S)
Times: Saturdays 09:30-14:50
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥16,000/day plus transportation

Saturday Kinder Morning (S)
Times: Saturdays 9:50-12:30
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.


Elementary Returnee Class (TU/TH)
Times: Tuesdays &Thursdays 15:00-19:00
Contract length: 38 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥16,800/lesson plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for high-level returnees/international school attendees aged 6-12 years.


Elementary Children’s Class (TU/F)　
Times: Tuesdays or Fridays 17:00-18:20
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥5,600/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Two 40-minute general English lessons a day.


International Kids Program: Elementary (S)
Times: Saturdays 09:30-14:50
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥16,000/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics/reading, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.



Dispatch Elementary Class (S)
Times: Saturdays 8:30-16:30
Contract length: 30 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥25,375/day plus transportation
Location: Tezukayama, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years.


Dispatch Junior High School Class(W)
Times: Wednesdays 10:30-16:30
Contract length: 25-30 days from April to March 2019
Compensation: ¥16,000/day plus transportation
Location: Tezukayama, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for student aged 12-16, Working time includes office time(about 2 hours in one day)(checking tests, making English tests, etc)


Dispatch Senior High School Class (TU/TH)
Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:30-12:30
Contract length: 2 days a week, total 36 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥4,200/lesson plus transportation
Location: near Tanimachi 9-chome Station, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 15-18 years.


Dispatch University Class (TH)　　
Times: Thursdays 14:40-16:10
Contract length: 30 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥6,300/lesson plus transportation
Location: Abeno, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for young adults: trainee teachers aged 18-21.
