Native English ESL/EAL Teachers (expired)

Abroad Language Center Sendai Branch is currently looking for NATIVE ESL-EAL TEACHERS for kids and adults who can start soon!

Abroad Language Center is located in Aoba-ku, Sendai City Center, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

ALC is an international kindergarten for children aged between 1-5, and a language center which provides after-school programs for children aged between 3~12 and adult English courses.

We are looking for an ESL-EAL teacher who:

.has experience in teaching
・has passion and enthusiasm to teach young learners and adults
・has great creativity in making unique programs and lesson plans
・is willing to work as a team in an international atmosphere
.punctual and can complete the work assigned on time

Requirements :

Degree in Education (Advantageous)
TESOL-TEFL-TESL Certificate/s (Advantageous)
Teaching experience (Advantageous)
Experience working in an international education setting. (Advantageous)

Duties include:

-Prepare and complete weekly lesson plans, teaching materials and worksheets accordingly with the textbooks.
-Generate activities for the class related with the topic covered.
-Devise a student-centered, age-appropriate program for the school as well as a calendar of activities for execution.
-Carry out classroom management and organization.
-Keep proper record of what is taught in the class and the materials used.
-Prepare student progress on a consistent basis.
-Communicate with parents of young students.


Schedule:

There are 1 hour, 1,5 hour and 3 hour classes on the weekdays and on Saturdays in the mornings and afternoons.
The classes are assigned after confirming the teacher's availability.

Salary:

Salary is paid monthly and on hourly basis.
1,500 yen~3,000 yen per hour. Negotiable.
