T-Mark Inc. is a specialized interactive agency in Japan with a multicultural team and Japanese and foreign clients. We are looking for an experienced technical designer to assist in the creation of complex Internet-based sites and interactive pieces for our clients. We are introducing the cutting edge to our clients and we are looking for someone to help us push the technological envelope with them.

Your responsibilities would include the following:
- Design and develop complex, interactive sites
- Actively engage in initial ideation and concepts, injecting technological/platform, considerations and recommendations
- Work closely with other designers and development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented. Effectively and rapidly define and communicate project expectations to team members
- Heavy focus on making sites either mobile-centric or mobile-friendly
- Get sites working correctly cross-browser

Qualifications
- 3+ in-depth knowledge and experience of user interface design with consumer applications, preferably mobile devices, rich web apps/site and motion graphics
- Knowledge of printed media design
- Strong knowledge of design process
- A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
- Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Sketch
- Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes and etc.)
- Strong in JavaScript & jQuery, CSS and HTML
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of web technologies Flex, Ajax, Flash, DHTML, HTML5, CSS, scripting, and various other technologies is a plus.
- Must have good oral and written communications skills in Japanese.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Skills which are also preferable but not a must
- Knowledge of other agile languages (PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of iPhone/ Objective-C development and/or Android/ Java development
