We're looking for new team members in KYOTO!

Our company, “AJ InterBridge Inc.” currently manages over 50 renovated traditional machiya houses, and 2 hotels in Kyoto and Kanazawa. We are opening our newest machiya-hotel hybrid, “The Machiya Hotel” (near Kyoto Station) this winter!

A modern take on traditional Japanese culture, this is a private holiday house-meets-hotel hybrid. Guests will stay in a private machiya house that has been renovated to capture the undeniably rich history of Kyoto, all whilst enjoying the attentive service and "omotenashi" of our hotel staff.

◆Job Description:

- Assist Guests in a Friendly & professional manner
- Utilize your English & Japanese skills (and any other language skill) on a daily basis
- Guest Service assistance via telephone, email, in person
- Provide assistance and ensure guest satisfaction for Guests before, during, and after their stay.
- Check-in Guests, Manage Reservations, Manage the front desk of the hotel, and more!

REQUIREMENT:

Japanese Natives (日本人)

◆日常会話レベルの英語力をお持ちの方
◆経験をお持ちの方はなお歓迎します

Non-Japanese Natives

◆Strong command of Japanese (Speaking)
◆Conversational-level English (Speaking & Writing)
◆Experience living abroad preferred, but not required.

-- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
-- Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel in particular)
-- Computer skills necessary; work with computerized booking and payment system
-- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently


WORKING HOURS:
◆Rotating Monthly Shifts
◆7~9 hours/per day; 1 hour break/per day
◆Average 44 hours per week
※As our company falls under the "Special Target workplaces" measures (特例措置対象事業場)
◆Rotating Monthly Shift
5 working days/per week (7~9 days off/per month)
◆Annual Paid Leave（10 days of paid leave the first year）


SALARY
--Starting from 180,000 yen~300,000 yen/month
*Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
-- 3 month training period (Salary: 1100 yen/per hour during training period)
-- Annual Pay Raise
-- Annual Performance Bonus (Twice a year)
