English Teacher for Kids （到期)

In collaboration with the British Council, the United Kingdom's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, Yamaha, with the expertise in education business developed over many years, has launched YEA (Yamaha English Academy) to deliver real English through communicative approach to the young learners.

【Job Description】
Deliver English lessons to kids at YEA and seasonal events.
　※YEA program has been developed in conjunction with and is supervised by the British Council, the UK's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities. (YEA’s English is a standard English. )

【Number of positions】　
2 to 3

【Location】
　Kyoto and Shiga

【Requirements】
　※Candidates should be living in Kyoto area and can work at
　　 Kyoto or Shiga. (Not provided a living housing allowance.)
　①1 year minimum experience (should have experience teaching kids)
　②Likes to work with kids and always be striving to improve.
　③Caring, hard-working, motivated professional.
　④Willing to corporate with people with different background and responsibilities.


【Language】
　English - Native : If not, at least CEFR B2 level (or an equivalent exam score in IELTS or TOEFL)
　Japanese - None (everyday assistance will not be provided by Yamaha Music Japan)

【Skills】
　Preferably CELTA (or equivalent) qualification(s).

【IT Skills】
　Basic MS word, MS Excel,internet skills

【Contract】
　Subcontract: Gyomu-itaku (Possibility of contract employment: Keiyaku-shain)

【Start　Date of contract】
　YEA's lesson start from April, 2018

【Days / Hours】
・Maxium of 5 days per week
・About 30 hours per week (including lesson prep time)

【Holidays】
Basically 2 days per week(possibly non-consencutive) and other holidays (according to the company regulations)

【Trial period】
　１month from the start of contract

【Training】
　YEA’s initial training program over a period of 2 to 3 months and follow-ups

【Salary】
　About JPY 3,000,000/year 　(about JPY 250,000/month) depending on experience

【Transportation fee】
　Fully provided

【Additional allowances】
・Training fee and transportation fee during the training period will be provided
・Provided in case of working over monthly number of lesson sessions

【Residence status】
　Eligible to work legally in Japan ※Working Visa available
