Description

Rosetta Stone Learning Center has recently moved into a new office located in the heart of Ginza. The G-Six Building is Japan’s most prestigious working location and we are now looking for an Programmes Manager to take charge of our in-house learning center.

Rosetta Stone Learning Center is a subsidiary of LMG (Link and Motivation Group), recently voted one of Japan’s top companies to work for. Our unique Customer Second philosophy places at the forefront of the industry in terms of employee growth and career development. We believe in innovation rather than competition and have leveraged technology to provide a leading set of learning tools to work in-line with our blended learning approach.

We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to become the face of our in-house programmes that have the potential to serve 1000+ students both in the Ginza-Six office and nationwide. The candidate will also be responsible for leading by example by teaching high quality one-to-one lessons in person and through our digital learning platform. In addition to this you will manage the operations of our in-house school - the teaching schedule, the curricula and materials, the IT infrastructure, and the teaching team. Finally, the Programmes Manager will also be responsible and accountable for driving growth in the branch by building relationships with G-Six employees, organising internal events and seminars to attract new students, and targeting external clients with special events and promotions.

Due to the working environment a strong level of Japanese is required - N2 or equivalent. We also require at least 2 years of management experience and strongly prefer candidates with a proven track record of being able to drive growth. Most important of all though will be an excellent teaching ability. At Rosetta Stone Learning Center everyone from the CEO down teaches, and excellence in the classroom is essential to anyone who wants to build a career with us.

Working Conditions
- Working days negotiable - preference for at least 1 weekend day + 4 weekdays (full-time)

- 10 paid holidays per year plus paid school closures (Golden Week, Obon, Christmas / New Year)
- Access to in-house career development program

If you are ready to invest in your own career and think that this position is right for you then please submit your resume along with a cover letter expressing why you are interested in working for us. Please note that the reception staff at our schools are not able to process job applications, these must be submitted by email or through the website.

We will be accepting applications until September with a preference for candidates who can start as soon as possible.
