Berlitz Japan is accepting applications for English instructors to teach summer High School classes in Osaka at the end of July and in early August.

4,000 JPY per hour plus transportation costs

Paid Training before the commencement of the course(s) is also included.

Essential Duties:
Teach summer English language courses at High Schools in Osaka for one (or more) of the following:

A: July 24, 25, 26 and 27
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm -OR- 1:20 pm to 4:10 pm.
(The exact times for this course may be subject to change)
Total: 3 X 50-min classes per day.

B: July 31, August 1, 2, 3, and 4
10:00 am to 11:50 am (2 X 50-min classes) plus
11:50 am to 1:00 pm (lunch with students) and
1:00 pm to 2:50 pm (2 X 50-min classes).
Total: 4 X 50-min classes per day plus lunch with students.

C: August 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9
8:50 am to 3:10 pm
Total: 6 X 50-min classes per day.

Qualification Requirements:
Native (or native fluent) English speaker
BA or BS degree
Visa or Work Permit that permits work in Japan
Experience teaching at Japanese JHS/HS preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Visa / Residence Requirements:
Only domestic applicants from those already residing in the Kansai area on valid visas that permit work in Japan and available for in-person interviews will be considered. Overseas applications will not be considered.
