Description
*** Proofreader/ Translation Checker (IT Manuals) ***
= Job Description:
* Japanese => English proofreading, editing, translation checking and translation of a wide range of technical documents including IT manuals
*** Requirements ***
= The ideal candidate is a native or near-native English speaker with excellent Japanese language skills (N1 strongly preferred) with some prior knowledge or interest in IT (e.g. studied computer programming languages such as C or Java, IT networking, experience building a computer from scratch as a hobby etc)
= This job requires strong English writing skills as well as a high level of Japanese comprehension.
= On the job training is available for candidates who meet the basic job requirements.
= Contract Type: Haken
= Start Date: ASAP
= Contract length: Long Term (3 month renewable contracts)
= Working Days: 5 days/week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
= Working Hours: 08:45-17:15 (45 min break)
== Estimated Overtime: 0-20hrs/month
= Location: Totsuka-ku, Yokohama City
*** Near Totsuka Station (on the JR Tokaido, Shonan-Shinjuku and Yokosuka lines) ***
= Salary: 2000 yen/hr (aprx 310,000 yen/month + overtime)
