Description

Tact Kodomomirai Co. Ltd. (incorporating WinBe, Kids Duo and Kids Duo International) has an opening for a Part-Time Instructor in our established WinBe English School located in Meisei, Nagoya (Aichi Prefecture).

We are looking for a bright, friendly, professionally minded native-English speaking instructor who shares a passion for helping students achieve their English-language goals and enjoys working in a fun learning environment.

Applicants must be enthusiastic to teach energetic lessons, and creative to find new ways of engaging students while teaching to a curriculum. Thorough training and materials are provided with continuous on-going support throughout the year enabling you to feel confident in your role and to develop your skills as an educator.

Applicants must enjoy working with people of all ages, show an eagerness to learn, and be able to effectively teach children, yet with a professional and personable approach for teaching teens and adults as well.

ADULT classes have a maximum of 5 students per class. Classes are 50 minutes in length.
CHILDREN classes have a maximum of 6 students per class and include a children's curriculum. Classes are 30-50 minutes in length.

An enthusiastic approach to helping organize and run events such as spelling bees, speech contests, and Halloween parties, is also a must.

Experience is not necessary, but a university degree is preferred. Teaching qualifications are also a significant plus, but are not essential.

Successful applicants will need to be reliable and committed to their teaching responsibilities, able to communicate well with Japanese co-workers and be flexible in their work mindset, assisting with Eiken practice, speech contest preparation and so forth when called upon.

Start date:

Initial training will begin in early August. (**Housing arrangements and costs are covered during this period as required. Training can also be arranged to be partially completed via webcam)

Hours:

3 days/week:
Tuesday 15:00-22:00
Thursday 15:00-21:00
Friday 15:00-21:00

Holidays:

Three main vacations that fall predominantly on the three main holidays in Japan; Golden Week in May, Obon in August, and Christmas/New Years.
