JOYTALK is now accepting applications for native English speaking ALTs for Japanese public High schools at various locations in Kanagawa, immediately and going until March of 2017.
Applicants should be native speakers of English, have a university degree, have a valid visa for working in Japan, be living in or close by Yokohama or Kawasaki and be willing to commit to at least a one year contract. Applicants would also be highly regarded if they hold education qualifications and / or have previous ALT experience or teaching experience in their home country and / or have conversational level Japanese skills.
The positions are part-time, 4 days a week between Monday and Friday with working hours varying depending on the schedule of each school. There will be on average 4 classes per day paid at a rate between 2500 yen and 5000 yen per class. A full working month (4 day week) should make around 160,000 yen.
