We are looking for candidates that can immediately start working as an ALT in Kai City, located in central Yamanashi along the Chuo-line.

The position involves working at 2 elementary schools throughout the week, Monday to Friday. It will start immediately and go through the end of the school year in March. You will be working on all school days.

The start/finish time is from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm.

Please be advised that this position will likely involve relocation to the area and/or the ability to drive in Japan.

Our ALTs are immersed in Japanese speaking environments and can really focus on educating children inside and outside the classroom. Previous ALT experience (especially at the elementary level), would be desired but not necessary. Those with a mid to high command of the Japanese language would also be looked upon favorably as well those with teaching qualifications.
