Kspace International School is currently seeking staff members to work specifically with our youngest babies and students, aged 4 months to 3 years old.

Our International Pre-Nursery and Nursery students (14 months to 3 years) need assistance with basic skills and functions i.e. toilet training, eating, managing personal belongings, separation anxiety support, outdoor trips, motor skills development and formative language. This area of our international school provides care and education to children via a set curriculum, which is taught in a musical and creative atmosphere. This is not a crèche or ‘childcare’ facility so teachers must be used to working to (and developing) lesson plans, planning events, writing brief reports and liaising with parents.

We also run popular Parent/Mother & Child classes for babies as young as 4 months old, and occasionally host meeting groups.

The applicant must be:
* Experienced and willing to work with babies and very young children
* Safety minded with a very keen eye for health and hygiene standards
* Self-disciplined and able to work off their own initiative
* Supportive team player that is also happy to lead
* Adaptable and willing to learn
* Neat and punctual with a great work ethic
* Able to follow/create exciting lesson plans
* Excellent communication skills with parents
* Creative, lively, kind and friendly
* Preferably have experience teaching in Japan
* Willing to commit to a one-year contract

All Kspace classes have a strong emphasis on fun and creativity, and we offer our team a bright and lively atmosphere to work in.

Compensation:
Full time salary: from 280,000 to 400,000 (based upon experience)

Requirements:
* English: Native level
* Students are aged just 14 months upwards – must have relevant experience and an aptitude
for working with babies and toddlers
* Teaching Certification/Qualification is beneficial
* Nursing skills beneficial but not necessary
* Enjoys singing and circle time
* Can work to a curriculum
* Work Saturdays (discussed at interview stage)
* Must live in Japan
* Must have appropriate visa
