Kindergarten Teacher (full time, based in Yokohama)

Basic Job Description:
Job Title: Kindergarten English teacher
Advertiser Type: Direct hire
Contract Type: Full Time
Salary: ¥250,000~ depending on experience
Salary Term: Monthly Wage
Condition: Negotiable
Training Period: 20 hours (shortened for experienced candidates)

Working Hours:
- 8:30 - 16:30 (school day, plus meeting and preparation for following class day)
- Holiday: Saturday, Sunday (except school event days), National Holidays
- Vacation: Spring break, Summer break, Winter break

Your Abilities and Responsibilities:
- Teaching English to children 3 - 6 years old.
- Leading fun music oriented lessons as well as serious English study.
- Making lesson plans (providing curriculum).
- Building curriculum with other teachers, working as a team.
- Submitting lesson reports and class reports.
- Attending morning meetings, occasional parent meetings.

Requirements:
- NATIVE English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree (at minimum) for Education or Child Development.
- Resident of YOKOHAMA.
- One year minimum initial contract period.

Bonus qualifications:
- Experience teaching kids in Japan one year or more is preferred.
- Candidates with a musical background are preferred.





English Teacher (based in Tokyo)

Basic Job Description:
Job Title: English teacher
Advertiser Type: Direct hire
Contract Type: Part Time
Salary: ¥2,000 ~ 2,500 depending on experience
Salary Term: Hourly Wage
Condition: Negotiable, full time position possible after evaluation
Training Period: 20 hours (shortened for experienced candidates)

Working Hours:
- In the morning or in the afternoon on weekdays only.
- Teacher will have 1-2 classes in a day. Each class is 1 to 3 hours long.
- Holiday: Saturday, Sunday (except school event days), National Holidays
- Vacation: Winter break

Your Abilities and Responsibilities:
- Teaching English to children 2 - 8 years old.
- Leading fun music oriented lessons (mostly singing and dancing).
- Making lesson plans (providing curriculum).
- Building curriculum with other teachers, working as a team.
- Submitting lesson reports and class reports.
- Attending meetings (1-2 times in a month in Yokohama).

Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree (at minimum).
- Resident of TOKYO.
- One year minimum initial contract period.

Bonus qualifications:
- Experience teaching kids in Japan one year or more is preferred.
- Candidates who are SINGERS or PERFORMERS are preferred.
