Certified Kindergarten Teacher (expired)

Aichi International School in Nagoya is looking for a qualified and ideally - experienced kindergarten teacher available from late March for an April, 2016 start. This would be for a position working with children from as young as two to five years old. Candidates must have an education qualification/license ideally in early childhood education or an education degree. We will also consider candidates with early elementary qualifications and experience. TESEL/TEFL qualifications are not applicable to this position. Candidates must also speak English at a native level and be currently living within Japan.

Applicants should have experience working with young children and be friendly, patient, organised and attentive to student needs. They should also be good communicators with both children and parents. Additionally, the school looks for educators who can work efficiently and responsibly in a team.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, although we do ask for some flexibility with regards to school events such as Sports Day, Halloween and our Christmas Concert.

A monthly salary of approximately 300,000 yen plus additions for experience, and a completion bonus will be paid. In addition we can offer housing support should the successful applicant need to relocate to take the position. The successful applicant would still pay the monthly rent and utilities.

Candidates outside of Japan or with elementary positions may also submit applications to be considered for an elementary position from September.
