The Team
As a Security Specialist, you’ll be consulting customer’s security, and designing, implementing the best security solutions, and empowering customer success. You’ll collaborate as part of global security consulting team that support customers to transform the world in Security.

Responsibilities
- Design and deploy security solutions in multi-vendor environments
- Significant experience of operating in an Architecture or Design role having end to end responsibility of
- Ability to simplify analysis and present results clearly at all levels of the business - including at senior management team level
- Lead teams of security professionals in large scale security projects
- Work with a worldwide team on innovations of security services
- Represent the Cisco Security Solutions team on internal and external events

With a varied workload and travel schedule across APJC, working as part of a dynamic and highly skilled team, the position offers interesting work for knowledgeable and experienced consultants with strong network security expertise and highly developed customer-facing consulting skills.

Requirements
- Up to date knowledge of future technologies for network security in Security domains
- Ability to know when to implement solutions and considering the impacts i.e. cost, customer impact, timescales, etc.
- Widespread knowledge of different Security vendor solutions
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Malware solution
- Good knowledge in modern Threat detection and analysis methodologies
- Experience of working in a technology-based role and interfacing to a varied number of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject is assumed and an advanced degree
- MBA or MSc in Information Security is preferred.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH and CHFI qualifications are all beneficial as is BS7799/ISO27000 lead auditor and Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE). CCIE R&S and Security is beneficial
- At least 10+ years of security experience is required which must include customer-facing roles together with clearly demonstrable experience of multi-vendor solutions.
- Extremely strong experiences in Enterprise Security
- Extremely strong technical account liaison and customer management, consulting skills are mandatory.
