Seeking:
We are seeking a full time web back-end developer to join our growing development team and to help develop our web application: Conyac


About Conyac:
Conyac is the simplest & fastest human-powered translation service. The users of Conyac comprises of two different groups: clients and translators. Our clients use Conyac to make translation requests (by either uploading a file such as a word, power point, or text files, or by copy-and-pasting text), and our translators are users from all over the world who profit from translating our clients’ requests.

Conyac continues to grow everyday, especially with the release of our new platform: Conyac for Business. The business version of Conyac allows clients to make requests at a larger scale. With the growing success of Conyac, we are searching for talented programmers to help grow our software.


Working Hours: Monday – Friday (flexible hours but a required 8 hours a day)

Minimum programming skills / knowledge:

Ruby (v2.2)
Rails (v4.2)
MySQL (v5.6)
Git/GitHub
RSpec

Skills that are not required but a plus:

- Amazon AWS
- Infrastructure engineering skills
- nginx module development experience
- parsing emails
- Apache Solr
