We are looking for a teacher to start working with us from January 1, 2016 in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. This is a field teacher position, so the successful candidate will offer TEFL/TESL training and/or teaching experience, the ability to handle responsibility and work independently. The teacher will also be driving to classes, so winter driving experience is preferred.
At JES, we offer a wide range of courses for students, from custom-made corporate syllabi to formal TOEIC (Test of English Competency) preparation. Our teachers are given a great deal of professional autonomy to create their own lessons, as well as support, benefits and guidance. James English School is large enough to have a significant presence in Northern Japan while at the same time is small enough to be able to treat our teachers as individuals.
