Description

Dynaword Inc., Tokyo, is looking for a Japanese-to-English translator/English editor. Candidates must be native English speakers, with strong writing skills, reading proficiency in Japanese (JLPT level 1 or equivalent) and preferably three years of translation/editing experience. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills in order to smoothly coordinate assignments with Japanese and international staff as well as a flexible attitude for appropriately handling the requests of clients.

This position will involve translation and editing of documents for large, multinationals involved in various fields, including the automotive, IT, telecommunication, finance, food & beverage, and health-care industries. Typical documents range from general business documents to technical files, and include press releases, annual reports, environmental and CSR reports, corporate brochures, company histories, contracts, product manuals and specification sheets.
