Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for driving our conference marketing strategy and outreach, and include development of membership and loyalty programs for attendees.

This will also include writing press releases and working to develop and execute marketing strategy and affiliations with universities, educational institutions, publishing organizations and corporations. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our marketing plans and be responsible for creating and optimising digital marketing activities, as well as collaborating to explore advertising and sponsorship revenues.

The ideal candidate will be confident, well-presented, self-motivated and hardworking, and capable of working with others on projects both as part of a team, as well as independently, and possess excellent interpersonal and communicative skills. and will be good at collaborating with other members of the IAFOR team, writing weekly and monthly digital marketing reports.
The candidate will be interested in working in a challenging international environment, with the strong opportunity for professional development and internal promotion.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

*Development and implementation of full traditional and Digital Marketing Strategy for the brand with the purpose of increasing consumer activity/ revenue
*Management of their social media channel - planning and executing campaigns and analysing effectiveness
*Management of the budget and forecasting process
*Optimisation of digital activity across all major channels including content, social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing
*Use of Content Management systems to update, optimise and manage company activity
*Working closely with key stakeholders in the business and reporting on activity based on analytics

The Marketing Manager will have:

*Strong marketing experience with a degree in marketing or similar
*Experience working in a consumer-facing marketing role (client or agency-side)
*Strong knowledge of all marketing channels (PPC, SEO, email, content and offline)
*Extensive experience and success in social media marketing (including analysis)
*Excellent analytical skills (AB testing, Google Analytics)
*A passion for sports/ events is beneficial but not essential
