* Editing and rewriting news articles in English.
*** Requirements ***
= The ideal candidate is a native English speaker with at least 2 years of professional (in-house) copy editing experience at a newspaper or magazine. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
= Japanese language skills are not required, but are considered useful.
= Good knowledge of Japanese politics, business and other news topics required.
= Contract Type: Haken (2 positions available)
= Start Date: July 28th 2015 or Sept 2015
= Contract length: Long Term (3 month renewable contracts)
= Working Days: 5 days/week (Shift: will include work on weekends)
= Working Hours: 11:00-19:00 / 11:30-19:30 / 12:30-20:30 (1 hour break)
== Estimated Overtime: 0-3hrs/month
= Location: Central Tokyo area
= Salary: 2300 – 2800 yen/hr (322,000 - 392,000yen/month)
